Better Radio

What is Better Radio?

The 1936 Olympic games were the first earth transmission powerful enough to leave the Earth. About four hours later, they made their way past the planet(oid?) Pluto.
Thousands of years from now, those transmissions, and everything ever since, all of the recordings made by network news and security cameras, camera phones and secret bow-tie cameras will wind their way through the cosmos, just waiting to be collected by our heroes in the far-flung future.
The Jeff, an archeo-astronomer, and Sheldon, a Space Amigo 2200™, collect scenes from ancient (re: modern day) Earth in our scripted radio comedy.

From head writer Rob Schultz (and a variety of guest contributors) and editor / sound designer Russell August Anderson, Better Radio is a scripted sketch comedy podcast in the mixed traditions of the Firesign Theatre, the Upright Citizens Brigade, and really just a bunch of other terrific radio comedy programs, many of them British in origin.

Convenient then, that in addition to G. Maximilian Zarou (as The Jeff), Nicola Clarke (as The Computer), and Rob again (as Sheldon), Better Radio is performed by a rotating cast of terrific comedians and actors from the Upright Citizens Brigade theaters in Los Angeles and New York and beyond.
